5 months ago: DENVER, CO - DECEMBER 18: Quarterback Tim Tebow #15 of the Denver Broncos and quarterback Tom Brady #12 of the New England Patriots shake hands after an NFL game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on December 18, 2011 in Denver, Colorado. The New England Patriots won, 41-23. (Photo by Patrick Smith/Getty Images)
Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos head to New England to take on Tom Brady and the Patriots. To say that this game isn't going to set records for television ratings would be a lie. Talk about the game here.

Its a final at the stick
36-32 Niners
I should have taken the over
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
message sent to Denver defense
can’t stop us. Signed, Tom Brady
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
That was quick
biggie22 - January 14, 2012
like the Pats picked up what they were doing in Denver and added a wrinkle (run by Hernandez)
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
And my failed playoff predictions continue.
I picked the Bengals, Steelers, Falcons and Saints last week. 1 for 4. I picked the Saints this week, so I’m 0 for 1 so far. Still got the Pats, Packers and Ravens.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
I did not give you those tips
Am I nuts for thinking it will be a NYG-SFO NFC title game next week?
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
That would be awesome.
and very very possible.
Cry - January 14, 2012
I missed the first drive...
I see that Hernandez has a 43 yard run. How did that happen?
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
wrinkle in the offensive set. Ran him on a jet sweep type play.
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
1 of the BEST GAMES i ever seen.

david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
I hate Brady
he went total douche when he married Giselle…
txbengal29 - January 14, 2012
do you know why they got married
(A) she was pregnant
(B) they are in love
© he’s Tom Brady dadgummit
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
well his other girlfriend was pregnant
txbengal29 - January 14, 2012
Tebow turns it over.
Once the Pats put this in the end zone, Denver’s going to be in a deep hole.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
NE formula
make just enough defensive plays… and ride their offense..
txbengal29 - January 14, 2012
exact opposite of the Giants SB wins
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
Even in that 16-0 season, their defense wasn't all that great.
They were just able to make timely turnovers and stop opposing teams just enough for their offense to win. Until the Super Bowl, that is.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
So I guess Hernandez is a HB now?
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
"The Brady Bunch"
Seriously?
Oregonbengalsfan - January 14, 2012
I used that one already
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
They beat the Giants in week 17, 38-35
the Packers beat the Giants earlier this season 38-35.
just saying.
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
*Patriots in 16-0 year
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
this has blowout signs all over this game
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
There was a joke going around work
take the over and the Broncos may not score
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
The Patriots are so inventive...
Putting receivers on defense, using tight ends as running backs. Sigh….wish my team would think outside the box like them.
Israeli - January 14, 2012
+10000000000000000000000000
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
It only works because they're the f***ing Patriots.
Remember when the Bengals tried to run a (somewhat simple) trick play and have Scott throw the ball back to Dalton after a handoff? Absolute disaster- Scott’s pass went 5 feet over his head. We also tried to run the option one play. That resulted in a turnover.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
They always say
give a kid a gift in a box and the kid will always play with the box.
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
TD Pats.
This is getting ugly.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
Gresham, Cochart the Hernandez, Gradkowski of 2012
Tampa_Bengal - January 14, 2012
you would like to think that
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
but Cochart? Seriously? As the second half an all-star tandem?
I’ll take what your smoking
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
Gresh will give the production of Gronk and Hernandez combined.
Cochart is just there as a figurehead to make it a duo.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
I think that's more wishful thinking
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
Oh, I get it.
You hate the Bengals.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
no I just live in reality
Gresham will have a nice year.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
I'm messing with you.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
Gene Steratore is your referee
AKA Ed Hochuli without the lexicon
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
Home field advantage
Has been key this offseason.
Yarin - January 14, 2012
some playcalling with balls
and lack of defense has helped.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
Brady just killed my Saturday night
I just wanted it to be close, didnt care who won
even though i’m still rooting for America’s most hated
keithp - January 14, 2012
oh lord
please don’t let this be a ravens pats afc championship game
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Playoffs
Not offseason,
Yarin - January 14, 2012
got u
keithp - January 14, 2012
The ruling on the field stands
because it’s the Patriots. Had this been the Bengals, that’s incomplete.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
Case in point Gresham catch vs the Ravens
Lobanio0 - January 14, 2012
The ball moves wayyyy more than Gresham's TD moved...
And it was a lot easier to see… and clearly the ground SECURED his catch whereas with Gresham is moved half a millimeter AFTER he caught it and brought it into the endzone… For Gronk its a TD for Gresh its overruled… Nice consistency there…
Luke - January 14, 2012
amazing
It’s good to be a Pats fan. The league loves and the refs love you. I think maybe the league tells the refs to love them.
Yarin - January 14, 2012
I know the ball moved
But I still never saw the ball hit the ground but I did not see every replay
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
After this game, all the announcer's will go back to bashing Tebow
keithp - January 14, 2012
Pats have hit every play
8-for-8 for 79 yards passing.
That’s not Tebow’s fault.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
I know,i want Tebow to hush them up
keithp - January 14, 2012
well good news
We will only have to listen to ESPN talk about Tebow about 1/2 as much if they lose.
Yarin - January 14, 2012
I almost feel bad for Tebow.
If the blowout continues, all we’re going to hear about from the national media is how he isn’t an NFL QB and needs to be replaced. Not only does the media attention make people hate him, he also gets more criticism than anyone when he messes up.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
precisely
that’s the thing about Tebow. It is not about his faith or ability. The media cannot believe he is genuine and want to tear him down before something else does. For no reason really
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
yep imagine having that much pressure. Then again, people have been telling him he couldn’t do it his whole life.
Tampa_Bengal - January 14, 2012
I don't buy that people have been "telling him he can't do it his whole life."
He’s gifted with more athletic ability than about 99% of the people in this world. I guarantee you no one said he “couldn’t do it” in high school. And college? He was recruited by one of the best programs in the nation and won the Heisman in his Sophomore year, for God’s sake.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
I havn’t read his book, but from what I’ve heard, he says that people have always doubted him in highschool to go on to play for a division 1 team. But regardless, even though he is very athletic there is no doubt that as soon as the Broncos drafted him in the first round people have been criticizing his ability more than needed thats for sure.
Tampa_Bengal - January 14, 2012
If I was the Broncos
I would bring in a QB and attack this secondary. It’s what everyobe else does.
Yarin - January 14, 2012
Your talking about Brady Quinn here
Tampa_Bengal - January 14, 2012
atleast its a QB
Yarin - January 14, 2012
Belicheat
looks like the Emperor in his grey hoodie.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
except for the yellow fingernails
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
That 3rd down also not Tebow's fault
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
I am going to write something unpopular (like I did a lot two years ago)
I think Tebow throws a better deep ball.
He is the rare QB who can’t throw short but can go bombs away if needed.
At least from my view
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
That's what I like about him
he scrambles around and then boom
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
Brady threw an INC
he must be cut immediately lol
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
Denver D has no answers
no pressure, and they can’t cover as much time as Brady has. This is like surgery.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
and as soon as I say that, boom!
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
now an INT
he must be replaced
that would be the Tebow reaction
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
what in the world?????
txbengal29 - January 14, 2012
mcgahee looking good early
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
My adrenaline is going crazy
Nothing better than Playoff football
keithp - January 14, 2012
Pats D is pretty bad
if the Broncos don’t get demoralized this game could see 80+ points total.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
score here
things could develop into interesting situations
and this isn’t jersey shore
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
Touchdown!
Tampa_Bengal - January 14, 2012
o boy
let the games begin
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
Interesting
The Steelers sold out to stop the run, so the Broncos replied with bombs away.
The Pats are selling out to stop the run, and not stopping it.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
difference between good defense and very good defense
I will never say the mustard and stain has a great defense.
If they did they would be playing this game.
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
Pats defense is shaky at best
Tebow fumbled once, and there was a dropped pass on the 3rd down that stopped Denver…. if Broncos don’t hurt themselves on offense, they should move the ball.
txbengal29 - January 14, 2012
Mcgahee looks young
keithp - January 14, 2012
He has really been rejuvenated this year
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
good for him
I’m just glad it happened AFTER he left the Ravens.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
Phil Simms
is sooooooo bad… how is he on the #1 crew??
txbengal29 - January 14, 2012
because
SB XXI MVP
Aw shucks mannerisms
the next option is Dierdorf
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
I am still wondering how that penalty was one sided
Both teams were pushing and shoving after the TD
keithp - January 14, 2012
home cooking
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Brady with another bad overthrow.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
yeah but Welker is my height
I could not catch that with a cherry picker
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
just enough
pressure in his face, couldn’t step into it.
txbengal29 - January 14, 2012
Notice how Quasby doesn't even return punts for the Broncos now?
I’m telling you, the man is worthless.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
kinda like tate for us
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
kick-ass punt
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
Love for my pitching wedge to do that.
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
brady not looking so good now
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
How do you make cheesy bread better?
Put more damn cheese in it, brilliant!
txbengal29 - January 14, 2012
with cheese dipping sauce
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
Throwing with the wind
easier to throw into the wind because you can pinpoint better. Tailwind makes the oblong spheroid flutter in many odd ways.
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
Broncos are setting up a bomb on one of these 1st downs
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
this is gonna get ugly
someone or someones are gonna get thrown out of this thing
david in upstate SC - January 14, 2012
# 68 for the broncos needs to watch his ass
he could end up hurting his team
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Yes, please, stop the option.
It’s a college thing and it’s stupid. I want teams to shut it down so it ends up having no place whatsoever in the NFL.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
I think it could be cool, high risk
But makes the defense have to be honest
keithp - January 14, 2012
Denver needs another turnover
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
Gronk!! What a beast
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
i wish we had a beast like that
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
We do his name is Gresham
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
hmm
are you sure about that seems like gronk runs circles around him, or maybe we just don’t use our t.e. the correct way.
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
We absolutely don't use Gresh or any of our TE
like we should
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
I think it's a combination of both.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
I wonder what would happen if him and Gresh switched teams.
Gresh is really hurt statistically by our system not using the TE a lot, but the more I watch Gronk the more I think he’s probably simply the better of the two.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
I think we will find out next season
I think Gruden wants to start using Gresh more in the passing game and if we can fix our o-line I think we will be able to
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
and if we drafted dez instead of gresh and waited for another t.e. would we be better off? who knows woulda coulda shoulda
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Could have picked up Gronk later in that draft, actually.
Could you imagine having Dez Bryant and Gronkowski both on this offense? It would be awesome. Oh well…
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
Would we have drafted AJ
if we would have drafted Dez?
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
Another interesting thought.
Also, maybe if Carson has Dez and Gronk he demands a trade and we don’t get Dalton. Too many variables involved.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
*he never demands a trade
I can’t type or think today.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
You just never know
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
i know
and throw in aj just imagine that
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Dez Bryant
Is hurt just as much as he is on the field.
Yarin - January 14, 2012
The Pats passing tree
seems like it works a lot better. There’s a lot of plays that seem like the Bengals don’t have in their playbook (especially stuff working deep down the middle of the field)
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
I will say this
I think our playbook will expand a whole lot this offseason with Gruden staying.
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
lets' hope
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
Definitely.
Bellichick has a rare ability to get guys open by scheming alone. You could throw some guys with relatively low talent into his system and as long as they’re smart enough to grasp it, they’ll be good receivers. I bet he could make a guy like Whalen or Baby Hawk look amazing. (Not so much on a guy like Caldwell- he couldn’t even get on the field for the Pats because he wouldn’t be able to understand the system.)
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
Chuck Norris wears a Gronkowski jersey
SevenRings - January 14, 2012
haha
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
cause Chuck is bad
James Schmid the great - January 14, 2012
It's going back to looking like a huge blowout...
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
Gotta love the gator chomp
Tampa_Bengal - January 14, 2012
i know he just did not do the gator chomp after that sack
really is looking like kids playing football
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Man, Woodhead is fast.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
That was a beautiful pass
Gorgeous
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
going back to another question
who do you guys think is better or will be better in there career dez or aj
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Dez Bryant or AJ Green?
You can’t be serious.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
both have great upside
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Dez is hurt an awful lot
and he has quite a few games where he just doesn’t show up
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
AJ by a mile
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
i would say aj
but not by a mile
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
I would.
Dez is good, but he’s well below AJ. Comparing the two would be like comparing Calvin Johnson to Mike Wallace.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
AJ. Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, Megatron
are all in their own class at WR. Dez is a step below all of those guys.
Yarin - January 14, 2012
AJ is going to work out
with Fitzy, and Megatron this offseason…….that’s awesome
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
i would like to see aj fill out a little more what is his weight at right now?
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Not sure but I agree
I would love for him to bulk up a little….or a lot
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
dont want him to lose speed
Tampa_Bengal - January 14, 2012
Thats the thing
I wouldn’t want him to lose speed either
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
I love a receiver who's his height and 240, but AJ isn't built to weigh a lot.
His frame just won’t support that type of weight. He’s fine remaining skinny- he’s still extremely strong.
That said, I wouldn’t object to him putting on a good 10 pounds of muscle.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
205ish I believe
SevenRings - January 14, 2012
A little below 210, I think.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
Megatron is in a class of his own even above the rest of those guys, I think.
He’s like AJ plus about 50 pounds and even more strength. In my opinion no one else in the NFL even rivals him.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
now he is the best in the buiss.
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Thats probably game
Helmsy - January 14, 2012
Holy Gronkowski
Tampa_Bengal - January 14, 2012
Chad might get some playing time now
LMAO. It’s scrub time.
Yarin - January 14, 2012
Lol this what we bengal fans had forward to look too if we had beat the texans
bengals&buckeyenation - January 14, 2012 via mobile
the one thing that really bothers me about the broncos is
not only did they draft in front of us last year, but they won there division, and won a playoff game. with that being said they are getting there asses kicked tonight.
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
5 TD passes by a QB (and 3 TD receptions by a TE) in a half.
#GoodLord
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
THE NEW ENGLAND DAY MASSACRE
bengals&buckeyenation - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Rest brady put in ryan mallett and ocho
bengals&buckeyenation - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Empty seats?
Anyone know why there’s a big section all empty?
(Not really anything left to talk about for the game…)
HawaiianBengal - January 14, 2012
i guess the fans are waiting for the championship game next week
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
he left his fag bag on the field
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
so does anyone like what the reds are doing so far? i think they need to take a look at left field now.
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
I love what they are doing
Going for it rather than sitting on there A$$es like they did last year
biggie22 - January 14, 2012
i know alot of fans did not like them doing nothing last year, and now they look like they want to win now
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
+1
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
now brady asking the ref if its ok that he just threw his 6th td this game lol.
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
At what point do they put in Mallett?
I’d say now is the right time.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
no doubt
stay classy Pats
joeb69 - January 14, 2012
you mean the mallett that mike brown wanted over dalton lol
and on a side not has ocho been out there tonight at all?
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Brady has 6 TD passes
Tebow has 3 completions
SevenRings - January 14, 2012
Kinda glad we lost
I would NOT want this kind of ass whooping
WhoDeyTim - January 14, 2012 via mobile
we would not have the ongoing draught of no playoff wins
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
you have a great point
Just saying I wouldn’t want my team on the receiving end of this
WhoDeyTim - January 14, 2012 via mobile
neither would i like this to happen to us
i think we would play a little better than the broncos right now, atleast i would hope lol.
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
I'd like to think so
Zimmer would have something ready, plus our offense is way better than Denvers
WhoDeyTim - January 14, 2012 via mobile
we lost 31-10 to a rookie QB
I think the beat down would have been just as bad myself.
Yarin - January 14, 2012
we also played a better defense than what the patriots have
so i think it would not be this bad
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
I actually like Teebow and have been rooting for him to suceed
His receivers have had some drops tonight. Having said that, I think the broncos are screwed because I don not think he is the long term answer and there is no way Denver can go in another direction at this point
biggie22 - January 14, 2012
home teams 6-0
so far…
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
hopefully the Ratbirds are the ones to break that trend!
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
lets root for jjoe for a couple of pick 6
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Saints piled up 450+ yards
and the article still says the 49ers had a stingy defense.
Bizarre.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 14, 2012
They forced their share of turnovers, though.
A lot of times when someone uses “stingy” to describe a defense they’re referring to turnovers.
sexsalad - January 14, 2012
Wow Von Miller...
Oregonbengalsfan - January 14, 2012
why? what did i miss
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Late cheep shot (or more like shots)
that started a skirmish
Oregonbengalsfan - January 14, 2012
oh ok i am not watching the game anymore
me and my wife are watching friends with benefits ( that chick from that 70’s show is hot as hell)
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Yes she is lol
Oregonbengalsfan - January 14, 2012
yes she is
biggie22 - January 14, 2012
Here it is
Skirmish
Oregonbengalsfan - January 14, 2012
that sure was a cheap shot
they can’t win the game i guess he atleast wanted to win a fight lol
bengalinflorida - January 14, 2012
Was funny after he started that
To see him trying to go head to head with those big linemen hahaha
Looked like a little kid pushing against his dad as hard as he can and not even moving him lol. Like he goes at like a 30 degree angle trying to push the one guy and gets no movement haha
