The New York Giants head to Green Bay to take on the 15-1 Packers in a game that some believe could result in the first major upset during the playoffs. Talk about the game here only because it's preordained in our genetic code.

The Giants are about to get after Aaron Rodgers

Gona love watching these state farm commercials during every commercial break
Tampa_Bengal - January 15, 2012
Those are the absolute worst
Right up there with the terrible Geico caveman commercials. Ugh
steve henderson - January 15, 2012 via mobile
I actually like the BJ Raji one. The other two I can’t stand.
Tampa_Bengal - January 15, 2012
BJ Raji might be my favorite athlete
after watching that second Discount Doublecheck commercial. The others aren’t that great.
whodeycommish14 - January 15, 2012 via mobile
I love Raji
and I have no idea why
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
The Giants are getting it together at the right time.
I think they have a good shot at winning this game.
Bigcatdaddy - January 15, 2012 via Android app
+1
they hav ea very good shot imo
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
Oh snap
Tampa_Bengal - January 15, 2012
Giants need touchdowns
not field goals
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
That could help
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
Packers will win big
I also like the Giants to keep it close, if not win outright but since I’ve been pretty much wrong on every game this post-season, looks like it’ll be a Packers route.
JADefense - January 15, 2012
There’s some speed.
Tampa_Bengal - January 15, 2012
Wow!
Nicks!
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
That fumble if it stands could be a 14 point swing...
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
After we get the secondary and o line fixed
We need to get some lbers that can fly around like the TX and GB have. Just watching these games makes me envious of their lbing cores.
Bigcatdaddy - January 15, 2012 via Android app
WOW That was clearly a fumble.
Tampa_Bengal - January 15, 2012
that was a bad bad call
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
Horrible call
Mexal - January 15, 2012 via mobile
Awful cal
whodeycommish14 - January 15, 2012 via mobile
call*
whodeycommish14 - January 15, 2012 via mobile
The white man’s impersonation of the Jerome Simpson flip.
Tampa_Bengal - January 15, 2012
Ballsy onside kick
n8dogg - January 15, 2012
Why?
when you have momentum after the missed call and TD.
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
Don't agree with the call either
Cant remember the last time Marvin tried a surprise onside kick?
n8dogg - January 15, 2012
If it has ever even happened
n8dogg - January 15, 2012
Wow Giants will be regretting that drive.
Tampa_Bengal - January 15, 2012
Aaron Rodgers
has one smart brain inside his head.
whodeycommish14 - January 15, 2012 via mobile
It looked like he had a convoy
if he had returned that fumble the other way…
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
Packers O line is having some issues today
Giants D line is the team’s strength
ticalcaldwell - January 15, 2012
yes there D line has been there strength for years
even though i like our D line i think they can get even better with some corner and safety help
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
WOW.
Tampa_Bengal - January 15, 2012
WHOA!!!!!!!!!
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
where was the defense?
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
No idea
I have never seen anyone so open on a Hail Mary like that
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
Holy crap!
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
well at some point a home team has to lose
right?
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
if thats the case i hope its not the pats game
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
Wow, Clifton shoveled the fumbled ball
right to the Giants
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
49ers gotta be loving this!
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
also anyone betting on the Harbaugh Bowl
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
no
do not want the ravens anywhere near the super bowl lol
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
I was thinking about this
I hate the Pats almost as much— and if the Ravens get to the Super Bowl it would drop their draft pick even further, doing us a favor in the upcoming years, particularly since their defense is aging rapidly. So Ravens may be the lesser of 2 evils, at least IMHO.
emeybee - January 15, 2012
21 Jump Street
comedy?
Oregonbengalsfan - January 15, 2012
it was comedy the first time 'round
but not many people picked up on that.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
Classified as
Crime, Drama, Mystery
Oregonbengalsfan - January 15, 2012
Sort of like what they did to Starsky & Hutch
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
Why does every team in the NFL
run screens better than the Bengals do?
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
why does every team in the nfl
have a better owner than we do?
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
touche
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
as soon as I say that the Giants FAIL
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
i know i just seen that lol.
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
Wouldnt mind Cobb making a big play on a return here
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
tebow would have made the first down there lol.
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
Green Bay is running alot in the 2nd half
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
Time for Jordy Nelson deep
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
you see that manning thats how you run for a first down
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
Oh wow. Rodgers had Finley wide open
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
huge huge huge sack
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
funny how the media fires tom c. every year
but he gets his team playing there best when it matters most.
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
Bengals could have had him
in 2003
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
so true....and i bet its not just the media
Those New Yorkers calling radio shows are probably pretty hash too
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
yes they are very harsh
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
field goal here
would be big.
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
TD would be bigger :-)
stomp on them hard.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
not a good sack to be taking Eli
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
still 2 scores now
of course that means nothing for rodgers and company
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
this drive
if Giants can hold them to anything but a TD… Giants should have it…
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
Ruh Roh
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
he was down, but if it stands
game
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
didnt look down to me at all
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
maybe he wasn't down
game
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
I dont think he was
Helmsy - January 15, 2012

game
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
WOW!!!!
Thats crazy
Helmsy - January 15, 2012

bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
Ball game!
if they get a TD
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
Giants are getting the coffin nails out.
Bigcatdaddy - January 15, 2012 via Android app
game over
Tampa_Bengal - January 15, 2012
grant tryed to squeese to much cheese out of that play lol.

txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
Fire put out by GB fans tears
Bigcatdaddy - January 15, 2012 via Android app
i would not cry
if my team won the super bowl last year lol.
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
Defense is alive and well in the NFL....
Niners beat Saints, Giants beat Packers, Ravens still alive and then you have the opposite in the Patriots
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
3 scores in 7 minutes
Even Tebow would have trouble doing that.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
the only bad thing now
is stupid Peter King and his love affair with Eli…
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
Harbaugh bowl
a step closer… but I think Giants will beat SF.
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
yeah
but I thought saints would too, interesting that it’s in San Fran
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
they played in SF earlier this year
SF won, but the Giants just have that look.
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
yes they do
giants are pissing fire at the right time
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
from what I saw
so is San Fran
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
smith had a lucky day
giants D line will tear his ass up ( atleast i think they would )
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
will be a titanic struggle
as Marty would say
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
I don't think it was luck
but he had time to pass. Which is something that he hasn’t had for most of the year. The Giants D-line will probably put a lot of pressure o him though
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
This is a pretty surprising...I figured if the GIants won it would be real close
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
bad call
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
I love football
But I’m really starting to hate the NFL. They are ruining the game.
emeybee - January 15, 2012
interesting that
with GB offense, they are better off playing in a dome, or a warm weather stadium
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
it's about to be 30-20
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
not enough time left
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
Sorry folks but I gotta root for the Niners....have some coinage on them to win it all
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
9er's vs Ravens in SB
9er’s win
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
I think the Pats will bomb the Ravens
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
I *hope* the Pats bomb the Ravens
sorry but I’m just sick of Ray Lewis and that trumps being sick of Brady and Belicheat.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
it's close though, lol
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
offense is pretty
Defense wins championships
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
Not always...see GB last year
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
they benefitted from
Defensive turnovers
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
So did the Saints but they were still both offensive teams
but I do agree in general..that is why I bet the Niners
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
those turnovers stopped today
hence, GB and NO going or staying home
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
houston did make ravens D look somewhat old and slow
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
yeah
but some d is better than no d, see Patriots
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
i just trust brady over joe cool
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
+1000000
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
If the Pats
can protect Brady the Ravens won’t be able to stop them I don’t think
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
packers were 19th last year on defense
steelers much higher rated
year before, Saints were 20th.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
also when the Giants beat the Patriots
they were only the 17th ranked defense that year.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
and the year the Colts won
they were 23rd.
So actually 4 of the last 5 Super Bowl winners were not in the top half of the NFL on D.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
My point exactly....
The cliche ’defense wins championships" is good but not always true
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
warren sapp even admitted that defense can get you to a championship, but offense wins you championships more times than not
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
What were there Turnover differentials though
Thats the key
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
thats what i am wanting to see
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
i have mixed feelings
hate the 49ers for the super bowl losses the Bengals suffered… but I really like Harbaugh. Dude has some big balls.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
+1
I like him a lot better than the “other” Harbaugh.
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
Jacobs

txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
lol, right on cue
SevenRings - January 15, 2012

txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
lol
SevenRings - January 15, 2012
after that TD?
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
Maybe not
lol
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
benson needs to retire
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
or just leave via free agency
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
15-1
down the tubes.
occams_tiger_teeth - January 15, 2012
shows how much records mean in the playoffs
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
0-0 once the playoffs start
joeb69 - January 15, 2012
just like marvin lewis says just get in the playoffs and any team has a chance oh waite
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
Eli never looks happy
Touchdown, winning in the playoffs, doesn’t matter… he always has a look on his face like “bummer”.
emeybee - January 15, 2012
has the nick saban look
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
Packers D not good enough
to overcome an off day for their offense….
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
and New Orleans has to be kicking themselves...
they would have had the game in their dome next week…
txbengal29 - January 15, 2012
Salt in an open wound
Helmsy - January 15, 2012
i think us bengals fans knows how that feels way to often
bengalinflorida - January 15, 2012
