The likelihood that Bengals defensive backs coach Kevin Coyle returns to Cincinnati lessen as the minutes pass. The latest is that while Coyle hasn't been hired as the Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator, it's just as good as a done deal. NFL Network Insider Jason La Canfora confirms, saying that Coyle will likely be signed by the Dolphins on Friday.

Dolphins expected to announce Kevin Coyle as DC and Mike Sherman as OC on Friday. Miami likely to have deals for both by Fri #insideslant

Out of house.
We just don’t know. I’d like Bowles. But he wants a DC job and with so many new coaches, he likely gets it.

I wonder if John Lynch would like to get into coaching...
I know he’s a commentator on FOX, but I would be interested in a young retired successful DB like him (doesn’t have to be Lynch)… just a thought… A successful college DB coach would also be an option…

Good chance it's Paul Guenther, though...

The vibe I've been getting from what I read on the coaching openings
is inside hire for LB coach and outside hire for DB coach.
