Many of tomorrow's NFL players will be showcased this Saturday at the 2012 Senior Bowl, scheduled to kickoff at 4 p.m. (Eastern) on the NFL Network. Last year's game featured future Bengals like offensive guard Clint Boling and quarterback Andy Dalton, who completed three of seven passes for 22 yards passing.
What tomorrow's players today at the 2012 Senior Bowl, and follow along with our own Joe Goodberry.

watch the run that comes in around the 28th second of the video... its pretty sick
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Predictions for MVP?
I’m taking Chris Polk.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
lol do I even need to say mine?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
No. Not at all.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
has polk been tearing it up at practice this week?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
not at all
But Polk is the type of RB who will be better in-game and even better as he gets a feel for his OL. He’s a very instinctive runner. Needs continuity.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
yea im interested to see how all the running backs look with different team mates and playing better athletes all around too
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Brandon Weeden for game mvp
The_Black_Stripes - January 28, 2012
Weeden is my pick too.
Boomer Lion - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Janoris Jenkins...
Dwight Carter - January 28, 2012
just for the record
Pead for me!
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Joe - any news re: Doug Martin's age? I can't find it anywhere
He was on Boise states’ team as far back as 2007, but I can’t find his age.
I think him as a prospect, but he may be a Russian spy considering the “secrecy” surrounding his age.
The_Black_Stripes - January 28, 2012
just as long as he isn't from south america or central america, there should be nothing to worry about lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Hahahahaha - maybe he's the real "Fausto Carmona"
The_Black_Stripes - January 28, 2012
lol i think we are on to some thing
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
or
play baseball
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
+1
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Nothing. And it’s strange lol
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
somebody just tweeted me & said his Birthday is 1-3-89 (23)
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Awesome - thanks!!
So he is essentially only 2 years younger than Ray Rice, yet Rice just completed his 4th year in the league. I don’t mean to be a stickler about age, but it seems to be an issue with rbs, more so than any other positions. Martin also had over 500 career carries in college. I really like him as a prospect, though.
Thanks for find this out!
The_Black_Stripes - January 28, 2012

Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
question:
do you sleep?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Seriously… 4-5 hours a night until May 1st.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
i figured... but keep up the good work... your insight is much needed
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I think
he’s hooked up to an IV pumping coffee
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Good stuff. I'm interested to see how Bently plays today? Intrigued by him
The_Black_Stripes - January 28, 2012
I'm going to have to check out Gilmore...
Dwight Carter - January 28, 2012
Where's the University of Candy?
I wish I went there!
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
Vandy. I’m on my phone = Autocorrect lol
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
I know I'm just playin
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
Trumaine Johnson
Why so low? If he played in a bigger school he would be 1st round. He;s a ball hawk along with Casey Hayward that’s exactly the type of CB we haven’t got. Josh Robinson?
messjunk - January 28, 2012
Exactly. In a deep class, small schoolers will be ranked lower. He’s still a 3rd rounder. Haven’t watched Johnson. I won’t rank somebody I haven’t watched.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
I meant Robinson. I haven’t watched.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
That was a shock declaration
messjunk - January 28, 2012
Yeah. He’s on my lost coming up
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
list*
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Love this Bobby Wagner LB. Can’t wait to get into more games of his. He really stood out in practices.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
This draft is huge on LB we really should draft one
messjunk - January 28, 2012
Might see Pead next.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
i think Martin will go back out since he didn't get any touches
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Good work
I’ve seen him in 3 games and the opposing QB just don’t throw it near him or his stats would be much higher
messjunk - January 28, 2012
Interested to see how OLB Sean Spence plays
He had a pretty solid week at practice, and considering that Zimmer is on record as saying, “We have to improve at EVERY LEVEL on defense”, I expect to Bengals to really focus on defensive playmakers at all positions. Rivers and Howard enter the final years of their contract, and Manny is an UFA. Moch provides no guarentees, either. I think this defense desperately needs defensive playmakers. I like Sean Spence and we’ll see how he plays today.
The_Black_Stripes - January 28, 2012
How do you feel about Barron?
I know he plays safety but I agree we need an upgrade at a play making position. But SS last year was the biggest liability on the defense. Think if Crocker would have just gotten 2 INT this year, it could have changed the out come of the year… not joke.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
no joke*
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Love Barron
If drafted by the Bengals, we would have the Red Rifle, and a Barron (I.e. a Red Baron – great pizza, and even greater ad campaign back in the day)
The_Black_Stripes - January 28, 2012
Joe....
How long to you think Doug Martin stays on the board in the draft?
Jason Garrison - January 28, 2012
I’ve seen people have him as high as late first and as low as early third. I personally think he’ll be available when the Bengals pick in round 2.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
what number is our 2nd round pick?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
For those who asked for my updated RB rankings...
1) Richardson – Bama
2a) Doug Martin – Boise
2b) Chris Polk – Washington
2c) Lamar Miller – Miami
5) David Wilson – Va Tech
6) Bernard Pierce – Temple
7) LaMicheal James – Oregon
8) Isaiah Pead – Cincy
9) Robert Turbin – Utah St
10) Vick Ballard – Mississippi St
11) Terrance Ganaway – Baylor
12) Tauren Poole – Tenn
13) Dan Herron – OSU
14) Cyrus Gray – Texas A&M
15) Chris Rainey – Florida
16) Bryce Bell – Houston
17) Marc Tyler – USC
18) Antwon Bailey – Syracuse
19) Jonas Gray – N.D.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
why James so low?
Here is my top 5
Martin
Richardson
James
Pead
Ganaway
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Size, injuries, not as fast as you’d think. Others are better.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
yea i agree about James
here is my updated top five
1. Richardson
2. Pead
3. Martin
4. James
5. Miller
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
love your rankings joe
palewook - January 28, 2012
2.21
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
so we have the 53rd pick in the 2nd
no way Martin stays on the board past 40. Washington will pick him up with their 2nd round pick if they don’t address it in the first
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
They drafted 2 RBs last year. Nobody can guarantee that a specific team is drafting somebody in January. FA hasn’t even happened yet.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
very true, but to pick up a potential Ray Rice
you really think shanahan will pass up on that value int he 2nd? Shanahan is a RB nut.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I really couldn’t tell you. I bet he’ll want a ZBS type RB. Not sure Martin is that. He may want Miller or Polk. Or even Pead.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
yea the more I watch pead vs the other backs, the more it makes sense for the bengals to pick him up
if you look at the plays the Pead is more successul at… its out of the shotgun. With a slot or TE and two WR. To me it sounds like he would excell under Gruedens style offense.
Miller would be tempting but then we would have to adjust our style of offense back to last year and think we are going to let gruden do his thing,
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
AMAS
How do you really feel about Pead?
lil10isman - January 29, 2012
lol i hope your kidding, right?
AMAS85 - January 29, 2012
Tampa bay might too
Dwight Carter - January 28, 2012
yea there will be 5 RB taking by the 53rd pick
almost every other team can use a fresh RB year in and year out. The average RB is in the league about 3 yrs. Traditionally speaking.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I’m thinking 3-5 taken by pick 53. It could leave options 4, 5, & 6
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
one team i suspect might be looking for a rb in the 2nd - 3rd round and not considered a threat to draft one
the pats.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis will be a free agent and hasn’t been all that for the pats in 2011
palewook - January 28, 2012
thats what I was think about pead
i think he maybe a perfect fit for the pats offense
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Might be time for him to get replaced
But he’s been useful and is kind of what they look for in their RBs.
Doc Scratch - January 28, 2012
Washington?
They had 2 rookies this year that each had 100 yard games. Guys I wanted in the 3rd and 6th rounds, respectively, in Helu and Royster. I don’t see them taking a RB in the first few rounds with all the other needs they have.
indesignkat - January 28, 2012
like?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
besides QB
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Aside from their biggest need?
Pass rushers, WRs, DT, S..
indesignkat - January 28, 2012
they were last place in a very weak division
they’re not a QB and a RB away from greatness
indesignkat - January 28, 2012
aren't they in a division with Dallas, Eagles, and Giants? I don't think their division is weak by any means
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Just because ESPN thinks it's the most important division in football doesn't mean it's a good one
The Giants won the division with 9 wins. The Eagles were just flat horrible. The only months the Cowboys are in the playoff discussion are every single August and September, when they’re in the top 5 for super bowl favorites despite sucking every single year. It’s not a strong division.
indesignkat - January 28, 2012
i don't think its the best division but its defenately not weak
Their division is like our division where we consistantly send teams to the conference championship games. I tihnk becuase of the competition between divisonal teams.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I disagree, but it's not really relevant anyway
we’re talking about a team with 2 impressive rookies at RB and whether they’ll draft yet another RB in the 2nd round. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
indesignkat - January 28, 2012
especially when you consider who their coach is
indesignkat - January 28, 2012
can see maybe a DT
no way Shanahan passes Martin up in the second. I think their Oline can take a lot of credit for those 100 yrd games
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
They play 3-4
they aren’t taking Martin in round 2
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
no matter how good your line is
you don’t have consistent 100 yard games rushing with absolutely no pass attack. Helu is a stud.
indesignkat - January 28, 2012
Martin is more of a 3rd – 4th rounder
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
doug martin?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I thought Mike Martin because you brought up DT
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
no im talking about doug martin and how Shananhan wont pass him up if he is there in the 2nd
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
i have a feeling with the buzz he is getting and a strong combine
Martin can probably slide into the first
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Martin is a lock for 1st
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Richardson is barely a lock for the 1st
indesignkat - January 28, 2012
lol IDK about that
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
So how long till this game starts?
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
Rainey and Pead my MVP’s
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Bears just hired a new General Manager...
Question though: what’s a “General Manager”?
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
What the bengals orgainization like to call a HC lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
get a guy willing to do both jobs for the price of one...
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
NFL network analyst had some good things to say about Dalton
Marshall Faulk hit it spot on for Andy. Faulk said Dalton was good at throwing WR open and that he adjusted to pro’s very well. The only knock Dalton would be his arm strength, he still has area’s of improvment
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Reps and weight room for Dalton this offseason!!!
He needs to get with Brees this offseason!!!
Dwight Carter - January 28, 2012
there is little doubt in my mind that Dalton cant get stronger
I just think he never really had to with his intangibles. Dalton has good anticipation so he probably didn’t have to throw as hard or deep in high school and college. Hopefully he can develop an elite arm in a few years.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
get him on a couple cycles of the juice this offseason
JCompton41 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
damn can't this game start already lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I'm focusing on:
Cordy Glenn on this first drive. Watch with me.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
He’s playing LT.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
lol sorry im watching CBs
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Jamell Flemming with the strip! He’s a fighter.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
im watching the clock tick time away
So I can go home and watch
JCompton41 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
same here
got it waiting on my DVR!
JoeskiBroski - January 28, 2012
i didnt even think to set mine
Being out till 2 am then working at 9 didn’t leave my mind time to think.
JCompton41 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
I'm at work
and we don’t have the freaking NFL network here. Work at Sears & have 13 TV’s set ut on display and NO NFL NETWORK! lol
JoeskiBroski - January 28, 2012
Damnit - had to leave my house, so I have to record this game. I will watch the tape. Hope Glenn doesn't disappointt
The_Black_Stripes - January 28, 2012
no joe adams
please
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Polk looks good
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
why does polk remind me of micheal turner lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
That's why you like Polk
patience & vision on that run. Always falls forward.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Was a real good run
Mexal - January 28, 2012 via mobile
That's why you wouldn't like Polk
not laterally explosive Couldn’t bounce it outside
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
+1
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
we don't need another benson
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
+1
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Polk is a weapon as a receiver. That’s why he’s different.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
im sure he has decent hands but he just doesn't seem shifty enough to be an effect WR
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Great hands. In open field? you think a CB wants to tackle him? That’s what Benson does NOT offer.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
but
don’t we have Leonard for that?
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
if healthy
and Leonard is our 3rd down back. thats what where he is the most effective
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
you don’t want a complete RB?
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
+1
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
how is polk
a complete back if he doesn’t have lateral explosion
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
because he can play all 3 phases of the position. You never have to take him off the field.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
good come back
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Most CBs in the league now are sure tacklers. Its not its the late 90's or early 2000's any more
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
except
antonio crowmartie (spelling)
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
lol thats one out of 64 CBs
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
i know
but i laugh every time some runs at him, it’s hilarious
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
I meant RB, but esentially he is a WR if he goes out to catch a pass
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
there is that ganaway I heard people talking about!
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
big, powerful, straight line speed. No agility or lateral explosion
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
i like that DT from washington, whats his rank?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
late 1st to mid 2nd
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
damn... he might be worth while for the 2nd
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Weeden is impressive actually
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
if he wasnt 29, he’d go top 12
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
age is only a number
its more about how many games you played… some people are late bloomers. I think age can be over rate, IMO
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
but it means he’s maxes out physically and maybe mentally.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
maybe if he waited till his mid 30's to come back and play football but mid 20's should cause someone to max out physically or mentally if the were meant to be in the NFL
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
im guess martin is the next back in
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
might see Pead next
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
hope so
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
martin is looking real good
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
As Mayock pointed out
Glenn at LG got pushed backwards
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
have they split his time at G/T so far?
JoeskiBroski - January 28, 2012
i think he was in at LT that play
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I saw Zebrie Sanders to his left. Unless it was an unbalanced line…
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
your probably right, i caught the end of the play
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
yup
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
damn that play was for Martin lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
pi on hayward
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
draw martin
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
on i-...
never mind
Doc Scratch - January 28, 2012
neither team
is attempting the run…aaarrrggghhh, don’t they know we need to evaluate the RB’s?
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
there keeping secrets is my opinion, how to keep a player on the down low?
do let him run the ball lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
don't let him run the ball***
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Martin actually had a nice cut block
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
He’s a complete RB also.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
i saw that, that was an awesome block
im kinda mad they just havn’t handed the ball to him.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
PI should be a 15 yard penalty in the NFL
too many games decided by 35, 40 yard penalties that are judgement calls
n8dogg - January 28, 2012
and lose all those huge penalties against AJ Green? sometimes those were the best offensive plays of the game
Brennen Warner - January 28, 2012
goes both ways though
it sucks when we are on the other end of the call. Just seems ridiculous that a Personal Foul gets you 15 yards but a ticky tack hand check can get you half the football field.
n8dogg - January 28, 2012
of course
but green has a knack for drawing them
Brennen Warner - January 28, 2012
+1
This penalty has defined outcomes of many games…needs to be changed
ticalcaldwell - January 28, 2012
and that damn hitting a defensless player penalty
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
what would stop a defender from interfering on any play over 15 yards?
Jason Blanton - January 28, 2012
you see Martin make that dude miss on the fake?
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
I did
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
that was a nice play action, I really thought he had the ball lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Marvin Jones is the best WR in this game
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Where is he slated?
Late 1st to mid 2nd?
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
late 2nd – 3rd
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
The Jones kid from Cal has supposedly had a good week.
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
Glenn at LG
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
I wouldn't mind having a player like Rainey.
The Bengals need game-breaking speed on offense.
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
Criner looks just like Brandon Lloyd
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
I like Criner
Saw a lot of him out here on the west coast.
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
Derek Wolfe
messjunk - January 28, 2012
Cincinnati’s best prospect imo
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
lol that stings
but i don’t know enough about him
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
on twitter..
I read someone say he’s best fit for a 5 tech.. do you agree? I think he can play as a traditional 2/3 tech DT in a 4-3.
Cry - January 28, 2012
He'd look magnicent next to Atkins
messjunk - January 28, 2012
Not as a starter, I wouldn’t want two small DTs starting
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
like that DT from washington better
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Who do you like as DT in draft Joe?
messjunk - January 28, 2012
I haven't finished my rankings at DT yet
but…
1)Brockers
2) Still
3) Cox
4) Worthy
5) Ta’amu
6) Thompson
Those are the guys going top 2 rounds
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
I think he can play everywhere. That’s where his value rises. 3-4 & 4-3 teams will want him. 5-tech or under tackle in a 4-3.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
think Pead and Wolfe are the last of Coach Kellys recruits from cincy that will make an impact in the NFL
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Is Duenta Williams FS eligible for this draft?
ashunte23 - January 28, 2012
from NC?

Cry - January 28, 2012
lol copples = peppers clone
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Coples is ridiculous
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
The guards are playing T
messjunk - January 28, 2012
horrible blocking lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
There's the good & bad with Pead
He’s quick & laterally explosive, but lacks vision and isn’t strong in tackles. Also, they’ve replaced him with Herron on last two pass plays. Can’t block yet.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
how was vision an issue with his run?
there was no hole
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I think it's indecision.
Between the tackles if there isn’t an obvious hole like you said, he sort of sits and thinks for a second instead of just attacking. Gets swallowed up.
Cry - January 28, 2012
lol there was no in decision there
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
You're making me seriously want to rewind.
I remember it differently.
Cry - January 28, 2012
please do
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Just went back to his run.
He sits in the pocket and the intended hole opens up, he sees zack brown and decides to take it right where a new hole has opened. Zack Brown gets blocked and that original hole stays open while the one he chose gets closed. So maybe it wasn’t indecision, just a bad decision. Not trusting his line I guess.
Cry - January 28, 2012
the first run he had the chance to cut back. There’s different kinds of vision: Vision to the hole & Vision after the LOS.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
There's Pead's value!!!
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
vision in open space or after the LOS is where Pead is at his best.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
that is what Benson lacks
Vision…he has the physical side of it…missing vision
ticalcaldwell - January 28, 2012
lol there is nothing wrong with Peads vision
there was nothing on that run, he had no blocking.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
That open field vision and elusiveness.
He’s a total bounce it outside, screen, checkdown guy.
Cry - January 28, 2012
those are his strengths but if you watch his film
he would fit really good in Grudens style offense, Pead isn’t going to run inside the tackles like Steven jackson, but he sitill good enough to get a few yards. But if ever gets space, he can take it all the way
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
and thats why I rank him where I do.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
i get that and its just a matter of opinion what you want your RB to do
but I really think we are moving away from that one back system where the RB takes the load and runs it up the middle.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I'm not sure sure we're moving away from up the middle
seemed like that’s all they had B. Scott do this past season and that isn’t his strength
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
lol im not saying your never going to run up the middle, Im saying, they style is moving away from the middle
meaning that play calling for running plays isn’t primarly going to the middle
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I'm not seeing it.
We hardly went outside
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
because we had benson
not pead or martin …. I think Marvin will let Gruden do his thing and you can tell by the end of the season we kinda went away from the traditional running game
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
But we also had Scott
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
and they played to his strengths most of the time and that was to the out side
i know you have to run it up the middle every now and to keep the defense honest
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
No most of Scott's runs were up the middle
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
Couldn't understand why they kept running him up the middle
when his strength is to the outside
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
lol question that too
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
i just know his bigger runs were to the outside and i figured he had mroe carries to the outside
which would make the most sense
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
well then we definately need an upgrade at RB
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Yeah, and I'm not trying to knock Pead
but if he isn’t going outside, I don’t think he’ll be any more effective than Benson or Scott up the middle
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
he can
I was fortunate to wych them plat Tenn. he had his best runs up there gut
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
*watch
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
and play*
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
and their...dangit
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
i think he will do fine with draws or just a hand off from shot gun up the middle
he will still do his thing, he isn’t going to push the pile is what im saying,
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
no, but
if he gets to the second level, watch out
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
That's on the line
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
But yeah if the line opens a hole for him
I agree, watch out
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
And unless we really upgrade the line
we’ll need a back who can push the pile.
And I do like Pead, just not as a main or prominent back
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
that's why
we need to get G and CB in 1st and Pead in 2nd, no way he makes it to 3rd now
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
lol wow that was crazy
we practically said the same thing at the same time
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
thats why we go for a OG and CB in the first
and Pead in the seconde, he will be long gone in the 3rd if we try to wait
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
lol
great minds and stuff
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
lol we did it again
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
i know
all highlights are of Pead,lol
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
I don't know
there a quite a few more complete backs to think they’ll all be gone in the 2nd to early 3rd
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
only time witll tell
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Very true
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
ball with space
he would be more than just a returner… just wait till gets some space after a handoff
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
He needs to create space also
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
its hard to creat space if your line is getting blown up on the play
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
You sound like the guy’s girlfriend ;)
Cry - January 28, 2012
that first run he was 3 yards gained already.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
I think we maybe talking about two different runs, but the one where he got tackled at the LOS is the one im talking about
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
why didn’t he return more punts?
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
didn't want to get him hurt
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
thats what im thinking
and he got the ball 80 percent of the of the time he was in. he had to stay fresh too
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I'll take Pead just for a PR man
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
I wish I could see him run against a real special teams unit.
but the ability he flashes is insane.
Cry - January 28, 2012
this game must be tough to get a rythem going
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
PEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAD
ticalcaldwell - January 28, 2012
wow nice return by pead.
Tampa_Bengal - January 28, 2012
thats his 2nd nice one
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
u just got pead on
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Pead again with a great punt return
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
dude is amazing in the open field
lol his has been doing it since high school. Have u checked out that hight video I post at the top of this post?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I didn't yet
I will
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
lol the file is kinda bad but the run he has at the 28th second mark was insane
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
pead, over 100 all purpose yards and counting
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Doug Martin and Janoris Jenkins have barely played
Im disappointed
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
me too about Martin
i wish they would just hand it to him to see what he really has
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Total Ohio State play..
Adams and Brewster with nice blocking, Herron draws linebacker attention, Posey with the great grab and run.
Cry - January 28, 2012
Herron showing he can catch.
Cry - January 28, 2012
and Block
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app

What corners looking good?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
pead winning the game for the north
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
see my main man pead looking good
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
told yall all week Jenkins didnt look good at practice
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
and you're the only one who thought that
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
Somebody said he ain’t played hardly. So caoches must thought same thing. Have u seen with ur own eyes or just hear say?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Seen with my own eyes
and as I said, You are the ONLY one saying this
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
well we all watching now so we shall see
And my eyes special I see everything sir
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Oh sheesh
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
I only saw him get burnt once all week.
And it was Rainey.
Cry - January 28, 2012
^This
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
It wasnt him getting.burned
It was his technique and how every play was suspect pass interference. He too me was top 10 pick, theres zero first rd wr in this game. Jenkins should look dominate against them.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
are you sure you don't mean dennard?
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Sounds like Dennard
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
that's what i'm thinking
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
na denard shouldnt even been invited
Jenkins didn’t look.gorrible, but remember his probably highest rated player there. His going up against mid round talent wr. He hasn’t looked as good as Hayward or Bentley.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile

Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
As a clipboard kinda QB or future starter?
Cry - January 28, 2012
Developmental QB, spot starter. Chad Pennington type
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
don't know a whole about him except the hail mary vs wisconsin
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
me too, jk
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Ouch. The North trying it's hardest to waste Pead's field position.
Cry - January 28, 2012
Casey Heyward is having a whale of a game
Aside from a PI, he’s making plays.
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
and the pi was questionabld at best
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
*questionable
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
He’s my #5. I really like his ball skills & toughness
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
2nd round talent?
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
late 2nd early 3rd
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
imo
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Solid 2nd round.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Wouldn't it be a better pick up for the Bengals to get in him the 2nd than draft Dennard?
WOOD98 - January 29, 2012
Dennard is a 2nd round pick anyway
Joe Goodberry - January 29, 2012 via Android app
Pead for MVP?
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
So far. No doubt.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
at least for the first half so far, but its still pretty early
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
this game seems pretty slopy or is most senoir bowls sloppy?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
most are
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
hopefully martin gets some touches
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
There we go
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
very ray riceish
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
i wouldn't mind taking Martin in the first and pead in the second. Serously
we would have the complet back field for the WCO sylish offense.
let go of Bernard
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
^This
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
not me
want G, CB in 1st, Pead in 2nd and someone like Ganaway in 4th or 5th
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
and
don’t get me wrong, if Martin is there in 2nd, snatch him
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
true about ganaway, that would make more sense
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I would take a guard over that second runningback any day
Brennen Warner - January 28, 2012
there you go
Tampa_Bengal - January 28, 2012
Coples
He’s been impacting a lot
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
because he is a top 5 talent going to against a back up lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
not really
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
whats the tackle rated that he is going against with?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
#5 OT, #4 OG
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
would he start on most teams?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Oh yeah. He’s a late first to mid 2nd round pick.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
damn, coples must be the real deal then
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
whats the tackle rated that he is going against with?
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
see the difference as a runner Martin is?
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Thats why i say jenkins struggled this week
He also is top 5 talent and is not standing out. Pretty soon you’ll hear bout a injury. Watch what I tell yall
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
i still think
your thinking of Alfonzo dennard
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Play on totally different teams and one has dreads. Bentley is a sleeper pick though.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Really like Kelemete.
Cry - January 28, 2012
how is martin looking?
Joe who IS this Robinson cat?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Robinson is a big slow guy. Not much of anything. Maybe a red zone threat in the NFL at best.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Looked like Simpson.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
sounds like alshon jeffery
never been a fan
Brennen Warner - January 28, 2012
good block by martin.
Tampa_Bengal - January 28, 2012
i thoght it was holding initially
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Well I was about to say this
but then the announcer said it… but He is a complete football back
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
Awful attempt at a tackle by 24 who's that

pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
winning what?
crimeny dude, it’s not a competition
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
My scouting skills on display.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
LOL
No comment
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
lol well he has been right so far about this week and the senor bowl
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Umm been reading his comments?
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
all week long?
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
true, I havn't but i did see he did say jenkins was over rated
and Ive been one of peads biggest supporters on here and he agreed about some of the things i was saying
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
And Jenkins has been shining in Senior bowl practices
and haven’t noticed him screwing up in this game. Granted I haven’t been able to watch 100% of it, but point stands.
lol and agreeing with you makes him riight?
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
"lol and agreeing with you makes him riight?'
not that he agreed with me but I can confirm what he is saying. And so yes that makes him right because pead has been out performing everyone so far
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Considering all purpose
yes he has been out performing eveyone
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
but thats important because it set up scoring drives
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
i can't wait till he gets another series to run the ball
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I want to see more too
I’ve watched videos and I liked what I’ve seen, but haven’t been impressed with him as a RB today
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
just wait till they hand it off to him in a shotgun formations
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I don’t like rotation at all from neither side. It’s stuff to tell who in game
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
*tough
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Martin has looked very good
in all phases
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
Also saw some good runs by Wilson
but I missed a lot of his snaps due to losing the stream
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
except specila teams right
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I've missed a bunch of special teams
but was talking all phases of a complete back. Rushing, catching, pass blocking, play action…
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
lol just messing with man, i just don't do that wink thing
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Hah!
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
Competing against no one
is the best way to win.

Cry - January 28, 2012
i really like smith in the third but not before
beast_ - January 28, 2012
glenn not living up to billing
and i don’t care that the anouncer loves him
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
i think we have to stay away from glenn...he seems to much like andre early in his career
beast_ - January 28, 2012
I did a live mock over the past few days. (3 Rounds)
I drafted for the Bengals and selected DeCastro (1.17) Stephon Gilmore (1.21) – Doug Martin (2.21) – Harrison Smith (3.21)
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
love it!
beast_ - January 28, 2012
would be a fan of this
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
whats the chances that martin actually is there in the second when we pick though
beast_ - January 28, 2012
Depends. Draft is a long way away.
Lots of RBs, don’t think more than 1 or 2 will go in first.
Cry - January 28, 2012
i saw 2 or 3 in the first and 3-4 in the second
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Draft isn't too rich in first round talent.
I think teams will shy away from backs in the first in order to get more of a “sure thing”.. but I could be way off. Draft is very far away.
Cry - January 28, 2012
richardson, miller and Martin look like they maybe selected in the first
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
thats what i was saying, the are like 3 or 4 teams that would love to pick him up in the 2nd before we can think about it
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
if we arent sold on someone at 21 i would be a huge fan of trading for a second and a third as it seems like this draft is deep
beast_ - January 28, 2012
slim to none
although, Pead would most definately be
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
it will be close that pead will drop to us in the second
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
no way in the 3rd, pats will pick pead up in the late 2nd at least
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
after they just took vereen and ridley last year?
Brennen Warner - January 28, 2012
i don't see why that matters? if they need an upgrade in the back field and i think ellis green is a FA
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
yes, but RB isnt more a need for the patriots than any other team
just curiosu why you listed the pats
Brennen Warner - January 28, 2012
by the way Pead runs and his ability work in space would fit the pats offense so well and make them much more scary on offense
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Out of curiosity, who are you?

Brennen Warner - January 28, 2012
drop?
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Yea, I think he is a top five RB and every other team needs a change of speed back/ returner
it will be close
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Good
He ranks between 2-5 on RB rankings. So it depends on how many RBs you think get selected between pick 17 and 53. I don’t think more than 3 will be taken in that time.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
although if polk keeps playing like this we can get him in the seventh :)
beast_ - January 28, 2012

now that’s funny and probably true
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
could u imagine him coming up to the LOS on a hand off...im terrified when i get through that hole!

I would be pretty thrilled if thats what we end up with
EPK1979 - January 28, 2012
I like it as well but I would go Miller over Gilmore, Hayward over Martin
EPK1979 - January 30, 2012 via mobile
Literally my dream draft
Tampa_Bengal - January 28, 2012
in response to above^
Tampa_Bengal - January 28, 2012
which secondary player playing like 1st rd talent
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
most of the 1st round projections
are juniours and not playing in this game
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
This
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Who?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
clairebourne, kirkpatrick
only sure fires
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
at DB? Claiborne, Kirkpatrick, Barron, Gilmore
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
joe what do u think of iloka,...sems rangy and long
beast_ - January 28, 2012
Exactly what he is rangy & long. So long that it hurts his ability to change directions quickly and get to full speed quickly. 3rd round.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
sounds like sands
beast_ - January 28, 2012
not as long and Go-go gadget as Sands.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
So would you prefer Sands?
Cry - January 28, 2012
No. I gave Sands a 7-PFA grade. I think he’s a special teamer with spot starter chances. I didn’t like him.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Me either, the pick was a total head scratcher. :(
Cry - January 28, 2012
Man i hated all our lower rounds picks all projects
messjunk - January 28, 2012
and Mays
with an off season, can he be a starter in your opinion
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Yes. While he lacks necessary skills to be an All Pro, he can definitely be a starter in the NFL. Problem is, Nelson & Mays would be a bad combination.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
yeah, can see that
both lacking in coverage?
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Yup and Nelson is a dummy
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
still could have two guys taht could lay the wood
beast_ - January 28, 2012
lol nelson a dummy?
Nelson could be a top five safety
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Direct from a scout I talked to: "Nelson was the dumbest interviewee I’ve ever gad st the combine. He literally had no idea about Defensive schemes. He said “I play center field. I don’t know.”"
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
*had at
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
well i don't know anything about that
but from what I have seen from him, by performance, he was the second best defensive player we had last year.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I agree. Dumb players can be good. You just have to control his assignments. And they do that. Jacksonville didn’t.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Might be really bad that we are losing Coyle then.
The Dolphins took him for his ability to teach anyone, or so I’ve read. Perhaps Nelson’s improvement is more Coyle teaching than Zimmer/scheme. Hmm..
Cry - January 28, 2012
It could be. I thought of that also.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
bad teacher then
It’s seems only players seeing a shot at playing time is the top draft picks. How many years we then took a corner if safety late and he developed?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Or
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Said that yesterday got blasted. That’s why Barron is #1 priority, he is qb of defense.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
i like barron too
but we will know for sure what direction they will go after FA
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
what about
Clements and Mays, Clements is a solid tackler with good to great coverage skills if he’s got the play in front of him, the problem with him is his loss of speed, imo
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
rather have Clements & Nelson
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
+1
start a rookie or resign pacman
Brennen Warner - January 28, 2012
Are you saying we should start the CB we draft this year
messjunk - January 28, 2012
he would need to start at least 6 games
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
either hall and jones
or rookie and hall if healthy, jones if not
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
im thinking hall will be on the pup list
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
me too
but everybody heals differently
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Robert Sands.
Cry - January 28, 2012
Joe Adams = Victor Cruz?
Cry - January 28, 2012
Adams is maybe the 2nd fastest player in this draft.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Behind who?
Rainey?
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
yup
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
In height and frame he’s very close to Cruz. And they both extend towards the ball much more than it would appear possible. Both sure handed guys who don’t trap and body catch balls. I think Adams is a bit faster but Cruz has better body control.
Cry - January 28, 2012
Kellen's showing all the throws
Side arm noodle
messjunk - January 28, 2012
at this rate we will get polk as a udfa
beast_ - January 28, 2012
rankings/grades don’t change that much from this game.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
sarcasm lol
beast_ - January 28, 2012
joe i have off topic?
If Nelson avg more solo tackles in Jax how did we revive his career? He had 5int as a rookie, look at his stats his solo tackles have slacked off.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Not this again
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
I dont know how Jax used him in his last couple years there, but Zimmer does a hell of a job keeping him out of trouble. (I really don’t look at stats. I can’t help you with what you’re asking.)
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
I dont either I hate stats
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
LOL Your whole argument about Nelson
was based on stats
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
yes to prove my point to yall
I had to break it down, yesterday u made it like you don’t follow nobody but us. Nelson.been a decent player and to he still needs to be upgraded. Can’t just be an athletic at safety.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
With who?
messjunk - January 28, 2012
You didn't prove anything
EVERYONE else proved the opposite point to you but you wouldn’t listen
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
"yesterday u made it like you don’t follow nobody but us."
and wth does that mean?
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
Joe
Creer? Didn’t see him in your rankins above and noticed he was MVP of East – West game. Where does he rank with you?
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
I haven’t had the chance to watch him yet. I don’t get too many Louisiana Tech games to watch. I’ll get to him eventually.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
How big is your to watch list
messjunk - January 28, 2012
I'm over 130 players now.
Still have 200 to go.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Wow good luck with sleep
messjunk - January 28, 2012
lol thats what i am saying
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I’d rather you send luck regarding my relationship with my fiance lol
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Adams playing his way into 1st
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Joe Adams?
No way.
Cry - January 28, 2012
No way
He’s a #3 WR in the NFL and return man. 3rd rounder. MAYBE late 2nd.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
speed kills
Going to be fastest at combine, hands look solid. And don’t forget his money is return man. He could easily give u 6-8 tds next year
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
people dont draft "money" return men in the first round
beast_ - January 28, 2012
He’s a slot WR only. You do realize that the defenses are in off coverage in this game, right? He wont win in the NFL on the outside.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
he's a wco guy
Give him a slant or screen and let him go. Trust everyone gets bigger when they get to next level, u can teach that. I can’t teach nobody speed!!!
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
is he going to get taller?
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
how tall is welker?
Size mean nothing when u have heart and the will to get it done. We already have our two big guys. Think about what a faster and quicker Hawkins would’ve been?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
If only they measured heart at the combine...
emeybee - January 28, 2012
That’s why I’m saying we wont take him and why others wont in first two rounds. Because he’s a slot WR.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
welker would get drafted over 95% of teams traditional #1's
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
to play the slot, no?
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Funny
I could swear he was undrafted.
emeybee - January 28, 2012
Obviously Pead’s best play of the night.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
but thats important because
it shows pead can be productive in an unknown situation
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
This is what I'm talking about...
“Special eyes” mmhmm
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
this dude swings for the fences with his comments thats for sure
beast_ - January 28, 2012
Wouldn't be so bad
if he would ever give ground… but he’s right or he’s right…
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
Whos he think he is...TEBOW?
beast_ - January 28, 2012
Well he has 1st rd talent that’s for sure.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
No he doesn't
not in the NFL
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
So nobody in this game going in 1st rd? He is one of top #5 players in game
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
why because they are playing off coverage so he can gain 10 yards a catch...HE CANT BEAT PRESS COVERAGE!
beast_ - January 28, 2012
Thank you
I’m fed up with this guy
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
he is making me lose my salvation through a blog...Tebow would be so disappointed
beast_ - January 28, 2012
when i dont agree with yall do i make it known?
This probably ur first time even watching Adams. Stop handling
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
LOL not first time watching Adams
been watching him for quite some time… always watching college ball. And yes you do make it known when you don’t agree. You call anyone who doesn’t agree with you dumb, stupid or some form of the same.
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
thats ur problem
I wasn’t even talking to u!!! What u got multiple names on here?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
yall isn't one person
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
ur is singular dude
That comment was for him.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
ur
is not a word.
emeybee - January 28, 2012
Exactly
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
"when i dont agree with yall do i make it known?"
read it, you typed it
And it’s an open thread
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
And don't change the subject when you get called out
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
I've seen plenty of him
Yes really good PR but no way 1st round
messjunk - January 28, 2012
yes he had off regular season
But ur money is made in these type games and combine. And do remember his qb from past years was a pretty good one that he didn’t have this year.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Where did he come from?
I don’t remember him being around during the season.
emeybee - January 28, 2012
Not sure
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
so everybody should make it look that easy then
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
coples is making it look easy and he isnt getting a ten yard head start
beast_ - January 28, 2012
hence why he is a no brainer 1st rounder plus with his body of work throughout the year
beast_ - January 28, 2012
top 10 pick
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Hayward is physical player.
He’ll get called for a few.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
seems like a zimmer type guy
beast_ - January 28, 2012
But the ints he gets will make up for them
messjunk - January 28, 2012
oh i agree. He’s my #5 CB
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
can u see us getting him in the third?
beast_ - January 28, 2012
If he runs really slow. Otherwise, I think he’s a solid 2nd round pick.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Hopefully by draft we can push him up a little lol
messjunk - January 28, 2012
Brewster playing stronger than he did this year for Ohio State.
What gives Brew?
Cry - January 28, 2012
i like zach brown
beast_ - January 28, 2012
Lot’s of range, quick, but he looks like one of those “I can’t get off a block” kind of guys to me. Idk.

Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
That was nice by Pead there
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
dude is going to be special man
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I know
been comparing him to Walter Payton all year, and been taking flack for it, I still stand by it by the way
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
i think he can be a lot like Marshal faulk
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
yeah
but Payton came to mind a long time ago and I’ve been comparing him to him since
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
i gotcha
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
but yea he has a flow to him when he runs
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
nice run by Pead, protected his body too...smart
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Herron is similar
to Scott
joeb69 - January 28, 2012

AMAS85 - January 28, 2012

joeb69 - January 28, 2012

pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
He's not getting picked in the first though
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
second if he is there is awesome if it comes down to him and martin i go martin
beast_ - January 28, 2012
+1
joeb69 - January 28, 2012

has an NFL ready body now, Pead will be better long term imo
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
martin wont be there at 52, im almost sure of it
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
so are we picking Pead or Adams
messjunk - January 28, 2012
lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Adams with 17
and Pead with 21
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012

beast_ - January 28, 2012
He actually might be, but he’s only 225 lbs! Undersized guys don’t get drafted high. Like Pead.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Hey it's another Johnson
Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
We need a mock with just Johnsons
messjunk - January 28, 2012
all that's left
is the MVP presentation
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
That's a wrap
Now to re-watch it a few times.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Joe when you do your next full Mock squeeze in a LB so many good ones
messjunk - January 28, 2012
Yeah. I would like to.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
If round 1-3 go like your last..
I wouldn’t mind a LB in the 4th. Who might be there? I’d also like a receiver in the fourth though soo..
Cry - January 28, 2012

Who was last MVP of senior bowl besides a qb not to go in 1st?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile

AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Have you tried to read his comments?
emeybee - January 28, 2012
i guess it doesn't bother me too much
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
right what is this a spelling class?
Oregonfan went and got his crew
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
its not as much about how bad your spelling is but more about how awful your football sense is
beast_ - January 28, 2012
yall so much on my spelling and hating
Dude I the one that posted Jenkins got his ankle broke. Lol, so u might just can’t read not my spelling

Oregonbengalsfan - January 28, 2012
Matt Forte
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
beat me too it and he was selected 44th
looks like Pead will fall to us
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Tony Hunt and Sinorice Moss won it too.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Matt forte and was that a mistake or not?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
And Forte was 6’2" 222 lbs
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
i think Pead just proved he can compete at this weight against great talent
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
as a situational player. I never doubted that. I’d use him just like they did. Return game. Throw him a pass & give him 8-10 carries. I knew he could do that. I never questioned it.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
that sounds about right
i thinkg 10-15 touches on offense and special teams. At this point, but once he starts to develop in the NFL he will be able to take a lot more of the load.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
well Joe
you said in another post, wait till we see how they play in the game, thoughts?
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
at the bottom of thread
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Pead, MVP
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
officially
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
called that earlier lol
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Would never have thought that would be the case.
Good for him. Still don’t think he goes in the first—solid second rounder.
Anthony Cosenza - January 28, 2012
agreed, hopefully if Martin is gone we grab him
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
i agree, he would be the best value in the second
but you never know with the combine coming up
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012

He was my #8 RB before this game…
Now he’s my #7 RB. He jumps LaMichael James because of his punt return ability.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
wow, I'd put him 4th
Richardson
Miller
Martin
Pead
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
but honestly, how many Pierce & Polk games have you watched? It’s ok if you haven’t, I’m just trying to gauge where your rankings come from.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
haven't
just watched practices and wasn’t good for Polk, great for Pead, held off judgement and waited till the game like you suggested, my opinion didn’t change
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
But I can’t completely change my rankings off of one All star game. I still think Polk will be a better NFL RB.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
neither can I
had them ranked the same before the game, was actually hoping Polk would show me more than he did, just for more options
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
My top 6 are ready to be #1 RBs on opening day. Pead is the best of the situational RBs.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
Is there a #1 in two back system? I think Ganaway and Pead would compliment each other very well.
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Sure, I think Bradshaw is the #1 while Jacobs is the #2. Ganaway & Pead would be fun and also risky. Neither can block. You’d need a 3rd down back still.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
insert Leonard
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
so yall would pick guy with size over MVP?
This ain’t NBA, rb don’t have time to develop. How many times taking guy with best measurements killed us? U gotta try that in later rounds. We need sure fire productive players in 1st rd. Any time u win an all star game MVP, and player of year in ur conference that’s not luck. Dude has major skills. Was best.offensive player on both teams
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Here’s the thing, my top 6 ALL HAVE SKILLS. It’s not just Pead. So if two guys have similar grades, you go with the guy with the typical NFL body.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
+1
but I think long term he’s better than all RB’s in this class
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
and that’s fine, but the draft doesn’t always work that way.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
that's why I agreed with you Bro.
I would not be upset with Richardson, Miller, Martin
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
Oh I knew you agreed
I just said it because other people are reading also. I wanted to explain.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
my reasoning
is only because he has the potential of getting hurt easier and we need to count on our #1 back
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
but he doesn't have an history of injuries, he will get knicked up every one does in the NFL
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
I know man
but he hasn’t played linebackers who run 4.5 and weigh 250lbs either
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
and they haven't played any one at 200 pds that can cut and move like that
but I agree he can gain a few pounds, but its not going to be a problem
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
Why hasn’t Michael Johnson gained weight? It’s not always a given. Developmental players don’t go until round 3 unless they’re first round picks or QBs.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
but Johnson isn't as talented as Pead
but has the skills all ready to be productive, but i don’t its out of the question for him to gain those few extra pounds to protect him self
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
what?
Johnson is/was dripping with raw talent. He’s as talented a DE as their is in the NFL.
Joe Goodberry - January 28, 2012 via Android app
to be fair to MJ
they tried him at LB, so I’m sure they told him not to lose weight, then put him back at DE, he will put it on, might see it next year hopefully
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
gain instead of lose*
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
just to clarify
he played great, but he went down awful easy when someone did get to him, he could be like Barry Sanders, where you lose 2-5 yards alot but break some big gains too
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
gotta know how yo usr him.
Rice had same problem with Patriots. Don’t send him up middle
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
but in the NFL
they’ll catch on to that and be waiting
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
supposed to be reply to pray^
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
which one bro?
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
so yall would pick guy with size over MVP?
that one, lol
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
i like polk also joe
Gonna be hard to read him though. Just brings it on game day
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
Pead had a nice game but
No way he goes in the first. Maybe if he lights up the 40 at the combine. I still see him as a 2nd to 3rd rounder. I think he will have a productive career as a change of pace back and return man. He doesn’t have the frame to be a feature back in this league but thats ok, a team will still get a pretty good player. As far as some people on CJ that compared him to Payton, they must have never seen him play.
EPK1979 - January 28, 2012
and im sure people thought CJ2K didn't have a frame to be a feature back too
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
True but
He also has 4.2 speed. Also, I think Chris Johnson will be closer to what he was this year than his 2,000 yard season, going forward with his career.
EPK1979 - January 28, 2012
It was me, I'll stand by what I say
I’m 37 and have seen Payton, Faulk and Sanders, and in my opinion Pead compares to all 3 of them, I could be wrong, but I’d be willing to bet I’m not
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
i agree with you a 100% i see the same thing you see
when i watch pead play. Every step he takes has a purpose. I hope the bengals don’t miss this guy in the second round.
AMAS85 - January 28, 2012
if he compare to sanders, peyton and smith
Why wait till 2nd? Them hall of famers
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
cause it's his
potential, there’s also a reason why I’m not an NFL scout, lol, not like the Bengals would hire me anyway :(
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
pead is special
Bengals going to take him, we just go trade down to grab him
pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile
i hope he falls to us in the 2nd because we all know the bengals wont trade up
AMAS85 - January 29, 2012
Wasn't trying to disrespect
Payton was one of the greatest I have seen as was Sanders and as much as I think Pead will have a good career, Pead will never come close to those players. I respect your bold prediction and being a UC fan I hope your right but I just don’t see him being that big of a impact at the next level.
EPK1979 - January 28, 2012
lol
see, I’m not a U.C. fan, I graduated from Annapolis (U’S’ Naval Academy) I hinestly don’t care about U.C. but I am an Isaiah Pead fan
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
U.S.
joeb69 - January 28, 2012
and honestly*****
joeb69 - January 28, 2012

pray4gm11 - January 28, 2012 via mobile

I think he has had a solid week.
