Ladies and gentlemen, the season is over which means it's time to get started on our annual CincyJungle.com mock draft. Last year, we had a great three-round mock draft in which I picked A.J. Green for the Bengals in the first round, Christian Ponder in the second round and Texas cornerback Curtis Brown in the third round.
For the rest of the teams, for those of you who are new, Cincy Jungle readers emailed us which non-AFC North team they would like to pick for and then once all that was taken care of, we got started.
So, first thing's first. If you would like to participate in the 2012 Cincy Jungle Mock Draft by making the picks for a non-AFC North team, here's what you have to do:
Email me at JasonGarrisonWhoDey [at] Yahoo [dot] com with the team you would like to pick for. The teams will go on a first come, first serve basis, but here's a few things to keep in mind....
So having said that, decide which non-AFC North team you would like to represent in our third annual Cincy Jungle Mock Draft and email me at JasonGarrisonWhoDey [at] Yahoo [dot] com. If the team you pick has already been selected, I'll let you know so you can pick another one. If you get the team you picked, I'll email you back to let you know it's all yours.
Thanks and we look forward to completing the 2012 Cincy Jungle mock draft with you.
UPDATE: As of now, the following teams have been spoken for:
We still need owners/GMs to represent the following teams:

With the first pick of the 2012 draft the Colts select....
Robert Griffen III QB From Baylor
Bengalsfan024 - February 10, 2012
That would certainly shake things up!
TCfromDubVee - February 11, 2012
Then Andrew Luck falls in the draft to the Browns, and maybe that forces DeCastro or Richardson down to us!
DTFCPDX - February 11, 2012
I do not like that scenario!
TCfromDubVee - February 12, 2012
Hah
I don’t think Andrew Luck is enough to make the Browns competitive, even if he is half as good as the media thinks (in other words, about 2.5 Aaron Rodgers’)
indesignkat - February 16, 2012
Nah if luck fell too 2 the rams trade out
and someone trades in
Bengalsfan024 - February 14, 2012
Not going to happen
Luck has the best chance of being Manning III
occams_tiger_teeth - February 12, 2012
Never say never.
I could totally see with the year Cam had that Isray would go for a QB very similar to Cam in RG3.
TCfromDubVee - February 12, 2012
+1
Plus Luck may be more pro ready but I think RG3 has more upside. Wilder things have happened everyone thought TX would take Bush and they ended up with Williams.

Luck = Locker
Jake Locker was drooled over after his freshman and sophomore years. Scouts said if only he could jump straight to the NFL, he’d be the next great HOF QB in no time. Then after his junior year when he decided to go back for another season, they either said he was brilliant for refining his game even further and showing loyalty, or they said he was an idiot for risking a sure-thing #1 pick. Then in his senior season he didn’t look as good, and he ended up being the.. 3rd, if I remember right, QB taken.
Luck was drooled over after his junior season, then didn’t look as good in his senior year. We see this a lot. He isn’t some once-in-a-lifetime guy that’s going to revolutionize QB play in the NFL. He’s just a pretty darn good prospect.
Personally I’d rather have RG3, but it’s close. They’re both smart, have good arms (though Luck’s isn’t exactly a cannon), and can make plays on the run. RG3 is a shotgun guy so everyone is afraid he can’t handle the snap from center, but it seems to me that’s a pretty easy adjustment.

Luck is better than Ponder. Hands down!
TCfromDubVee - February 14, 2012
I can do the Jets. And if need be, the Chiefs
I live in Chiefs country and am surrounded by rabid fans, but I’m not particularly fond of them. I know what they need, so I can speak for them if you don’t have a better option.
I like the Jets, and the guy I always watch football with is from the Bronx so we always watch the Giants and Jets games. I think I can pick for them pretty well, but I’ll bounce the picks off of my friend to make sure they’re fitting for a real New Yorker.

lol thats they i feel about the cowboys. Im picking for them only because i live around so many fans....
AMAS85 - February 14, 2012
Put me down for the Raiders!!!
Jeez I can’t wait I’m so excited to do all the Raiders’ picks in the first 3 rounds!
Luke - February 14, 2012
I'll email you
to represent Houston
SoCalTexan - February 14, 2012
I can also represent the Titans
SoCalTexan - February 14, 2012
And probably the Jaguars
SoCalTexan - February 14, 2012
And..hell...the colts too.
SoCalTexan - February 14, 2012
Bears, emailed.
UIsteve - February 14, 2012
Couple questions
1. Are we all assuming our FA’s get resigned?
2. Can we trade picks?
SoCalTexan - February 15, 2012
would hope we didnt allow trades
for fa, seems to be the only way to do it. or wait for actual free agency to be done

One of these days...
You’ll hopefully remember to note that the Saints were also claimed already… :)
FriarBob - February 15, 2012
Now I do :)
Jason Garrison - February 16, 2012
I don't see them spoken for...
TCfromDubVee - February 16, 2012
He keeps forgetting to add them to the list, it seems… oh well, he and I and the rest of the draft crew know…
FriarBob - February 16, 2012
thought about posting in the fan sections for those teams and ask for a volunteer ?
palewook - February 16, 2012
At least in the past, we’ve tried to get “citizens of the jungle” to run as many teams as possible. But if we still can’t find anybody for those teams and we’re almost ready to start, maybe we’ll have to try that…
