We may not be able to watch football anymore but that doesn't mean that there aren't any more area sports teams that aren't playing.
If you're a basketball fan, there are some good college basketball games being played throughout the day, including UConn-Syracuse, Baylor-Mizzouri, Virginia-UNC, Louisville-West Virginia, Ohio State-Michigan State, Kentucky-Vanderbilt and Duke-Maryland.
And of course the University of Cincinnati takes on Marquette at 3 p.m. ET (ESPNU), and Xavier plays Temple at 9 p.m. (ESPN2).
How about NBA? The Cleveland Cavaliers host the Sixers tonight at 7:30 p.m.
Then there's the NHL. The Columbus Blue Jackets face the Minnesota Wild tonight on the road at 8 p.m. and of course, my favorite hockey team, the Buffalo Sabres host the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight at 7 p.m.
These lesser sports may not satisfy you the way football, specifically Bengals football, does, but they can at least get you by until free agency and the draft kick off.
So, what will you be watching tonight?

Sorry Jason
But it means no more sports to me. I wish football was 160 games and baseball and baseball played a 16 game schedule. College basketball means nothing till March and the NBA is just a joke.

Cavs- Bengals similarities
Am I the only one who sees many similarities between the Cavs and Bengals. Both teams came into the year not expected to do much, new face of the franchise, two high draft picks, the surprising start, the workman like effort, and the veteran big man who does the dirty work getting shafted by the media when it comes all-star or pro-bowl time. If its just me then fine. I’m just saying if you want to root for a basketball team that is a lot like the bengals then the Cavs aren’t a bad choice.

I like the Nuggets
No star players, just all around good players who all have a job to do and don’t rely on a star player.
