It put us at 5-2, the Bengals looked like a real team. The 1 and 2 receiver caught TDs. The special teams were amazing. And it was a game we weren’t favored to win in a very hostile environment. After that game I was convinced the team wasn’t a fluke. Highlights.
I put my order in for ribs and wings. I bought my beer. I’m going to make my meatballs tonight for grape jelly meatballs. I got the stuff for hot crab dip. Got the stuff for nachos. Got the stuff for spinach and artichoke dip. Got some nice crusty bread. Can’t even wait.
That was the game where Dalton took the doubt out of my mind about him being an NFL QB. If you go back and watch that game Dalton started awfully, like he was nervous, with just panic all over his face and actions. He came out in that 2nd half and looked like a pro’s pro, settled and accurate, a refuse to loose demeanor. It was like I actually saw the switch flip on in his head. Also about 15 Bills fans started to talk smack at the beginning but I had the last word. Priceless!
Looks like Ocho will be active for the game as NE has released Underwood (ST WR) and called up another DL player. It’s a sad thing, sort of, to see a once great talent like Ocho having to wonder the night before the SB if he’ll even dress for it. 2005 Fan in me really hopes Ocho gets on the field and channels that 2005 vibe and does something special.
but the fact BB chose to cut a gut who can perform on ST over the largely irrelevant Ocho is still notable. There was legit belief that Ocho wouldn’t be active for this game. There’s also the school of belief that BB has intentionally held Ocho back for just this game. That’s a little out there but with the hoodie, anything is possible.

The flip and the flop
Also the A.J. catch, V the squealers, and Bobbie walking of the field on a broken ankle

Buffalo come back.
Andy lit that team up and we sent buffalo on a downward spiral. That game reminded me of when we beat Kansas when they were undefeated.
