It wasn't so much a highlight of the evening -- that winner goes to the chicken wings, BBQ pulled pork and pizza -- but it was nice to see that the Patriots successfully got former Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco involved, even though he only generated one reception for the evening on Sunday. Still congratulations to Chad for hauling in his first career Super Bowl reception.
Now that the Super Bowl has left us (and thank god for that), we finally hit the end of the 2011 regular season -- and what a season it was. Record passing offenses, the surprising Cincinnati Bengals and after many months it's now all over. Thanks to the great readers at Cincy Jungle keeping us motivated, we head into the offseason with much left to do. If you were to make a list of the top five things you think that the Cincinnati Bengals do, what's your first one? It can be anything from signing a coach, a player or something else that you think that the Bengals need to do first and foremost -- besides hiring a General Manager.

Get Andy another WR to throw to! How about Manninham?

Inconsistent
If we’re getting rid of Simpson, why sign another Simpson?

Because Simpson sells drugs and will be suspended.

no proof he sold anything
he just has it shipped to his house

All of that aside
If we are getting rid of Simpson, I want to see an improvement at the position, not a lateral move or a downgrade.

Do it, Mike. Do it.

2013 Superbowl
Bengals are 40:1 odds to win the SuperBowl next year and I’m going to Vegas the rest of the week for “business”. Guess who’s putting some cash down on that??? Now the real question is……how much?

Ummm
Is it weird that I’m emotionally done with football at then moment. After the entire lock out drama and a season that was above anyone’s expectations- I feel drained of looking up football and probably feel like most players. A month or two off sounds great. Here I am though, coming to this site. Seriously though. So glad off-season is here. No lock out. Just normal off season football operations. Free agency and more.

I love football btw
The lockout was rough and the transition into our season was intense w our rookies. This year was like a fast action movie.

Five things to do
1. Fire Alexander (can’t help it, he drives me crazy)
2. Hire new Oline & DB coach
3. Really talk with with doctors and physical thearapist to try to and guage the health and probabily of return on our injured players
4. Resign MOST of our own and grab a couple additional FA (we should pretty much know who and what we we want and need)
5. Upgrade through the draft by drafting wisely
Bonus – Have a draft party @ Paul Brown stadium and then announce the plans to build a new practice facilty while also marketing season ticket offers

Mike Brown should be ashamed for not providing his team with a indoor practice facility.
When Ohio State has a better weight room and a indoor facility than you Mikey you have soon issues.

With ur number 4 point, got the sign Nicks in fa since i dont think DeCastro will be there at 17
We resign most of our guys and have a nice draft. Ur first 3 points are a must

no ring for chad...
I’m sorry, I know Chad is an x-Bengal and left us with some great memories, awesome catches, his crazy touchdown celebrations..whatever Im glad he didnt get a superbowl ring, of all the new england players he desereved a ring the least, im just surprised he lasted this
darthvictor - February 6, 2012
Number 1 objective this offseason is easy....
For once in his life….PLEASE MIKE BROWN……make a splash in FA. Fill a couple of holes so that when the draft rolls around we can actually pick the best player on the board instead of we have to have a safety or a guard or whatever. This team is on the verge of something special. SPEND SOME MONEY!!!

Hey, at least he tried last year by getting Duece Lutui and Max-Jean Gilles
I’m hoping for a better effort this year as far as getting free agents.

My 5 Things
1. Take OG Ben Grubbs from Ravens or Carl Nicks from Saints
2. Put full court press on signing of CB Cortland Finnegan (would be huge for Zimmer)
3. Go after MLB Stephen Tulloch (a big upgrade over Rey)
4. Go after RB Marshawn Lynch (would be solid complement to the RB we take in draft)
5. Say goodbye to Paul Alexander

Laurent Robinson
Enough said, would be the perfect #2 option to A.J. Green. May have to over pay a bit, but this guy just might be worth it, he’s a burner!
