II don't know that I think the Giants should be #1, but I guess there is a bonus for actually being the champion of the prior season. (my argument being that the #1 should be the best team, which doesn't necessarily mean the champion)

As far as I know, he was the only one to actually publicly eat crow about picking the Bengals as 32 last year.
